SAS Programming Classes - Spring 2013

Registration is required and there are only 28 seats, so register early using the links below.

  • These classes are open to all NCSU faculty, staff and students with a UNITY id.
  • The Programming 1 class assumes that you have little or no experience with SAS.
  • Programming 1 is a prerequisite for Programming 2.
  • There is no fee to take any of these classes, but you MUST REGISTER using links below.
  • Classes are held in the Statistics Instructional Computer Lab (SAS Hall room 1107) and include programming exercises.
  • Text books will be available online and at the service desk in the text book section of the Student Bookstore

  • SAS® Programming 1: Essentials

  • Instructor: Joy Smith
  • This class assumes that you have little or no experience with SAS, but it moves quickly.
  • Location: Statistics Instructional Computer Lab, 1107 SAS Hall
  • Meets on Mondays and Wednesdays - February 4,6,11,13,18,20,25 & 27. (8 classes)
  • Section 1 will meet from 1:15-2:45 (THIS SECTION IS FULL)
  • Section 2 will meet from 3:00-4:30

    SAS® Programming 2: Manipulating Data with the DATA Step

  • Instructor: Joy Smith
  • SAS Programming I is a prerequisite for this class.
  • Meets on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:00pm - 4:30 pm
  • Location: Statistics Instructional Computer Lab, 1107 SAS Hall
  • Dates:April 1,3,8,10,15,17,22 and 24 (8 classes)
