SAS Graph Goptions Settings

System: UNIX, SAS v6.12

Automatic Goptions Statement

In the UNITY environment at NCSU, the following goptions statement is automatically issued at the beginning of each SAS session.

goptions reset=all targetdevice=LJIVPS gsfname=grafout gsfmode=replace gsflen=132 gprolog='25210d0a'x display noprompt htext=1.5 ftext=hwps1005;


How to Reset Goptions to the NCSU UNITY Site Specific Defaults

In some circumstances, it is necessary or desireable to change the goptions settings during your SAS session.
This is done by issuing a goptions statement.
Submitting the goptions statement mentioned above will return the goptions to their original settings. You can type, or copy and paste, the goptions statement into your program editor window and submit it.

How to Fix Printing Problems in Interactive SAS/QC that are due to inappropriate goptions settings.

Printing problems occur when using SAS/QC interactively because SAS/QC issues a goptions statement that does not work with our system setup. Here is the solution.

Retype ,or copy and paste, the above mentioned goptions statement into the Prefix commands window in Interactive SAS/QC.

Here is how.

  • Start SAS/QC
  • Select Setup
  • Select Device Driver Management
  • Select Supplemental commands
  • Select Prefix Commands
  • Type or copy the above mentioned goptions statement into this window. Remove reset=all .
  • goback, goback, goback
