Displaying color graphics on monitor in UNIX
The way a graph appears on the screen is determined by the TARGETDEVICE graphics
option.
The purpose of the TARGETDEVICE graphics option is to
display graphics on the screen as they will appear on paper when printed.
In the UNITY environment at NCSU, the default value for TARGETDEVICE is
, LJIVPS. This is a black and white printer, therefore, graphs on
the screen will appear in black and white.
How do I view a graph in Color?
To view a graph in color, issue the following goptions command.
goptions TARGET=XCOLOR;
How do I reset the TARGETDEVICE back to the default?
To set the TARGETDEVICE back to the default, issue the following goptions
command.
goptions TARGET=LJIVPS;
