Getting started

This handbook is intended to provide up-to-date information regarding the course work, schedule of required documents, financial aid, and faculty. Changes are sometimes made in the graduate programs and these changes are announced through the departmental communication channels. In addition to reading this document, all graduate students should refer to the Graduate Catalog which contains the official policy of the university and the Graduate School. Any conflict in policy between this document and the Graduate School Catalog will be resolved in favor of the latter.
