Homework 2

At the end of chapter 3 (pg. 3-102) is an exercise involving sales of organic 
products at a grocery store. Work through that exercise answering all questions. 
As is our default, feel free to work in groups of up to 3 people (with all 
contributing). As there are proposed solutions in the book, I plan to just 
check to make sure everyone tried it.

In addition, include the picture of your tree and answer these questions based 
on the tree:

(A) How many nodes ____ and how many leaves (or terminal nodes)_____ are in 
    the tree? 
(B) What is the path (set of conditions) that takes you to the leaf of highest 
    sales?
(C) What path takes you to the leaf of lowest sales? 
(D) By sales (for the tree being discussed) do we refer to the proportion of 
    customers buying organics,  the number of customers buying organics, the 
    total dollar amount of sales, or the average per customer dollar amount?  
    How did you come to your conclusion?
